Description

Cingal syringe is recommended as a viscoelastic supplement or substitute for synovial fluid for human joints, providing quick and lasting relief from symptoms related to joint conditions such as osteoarthritis. This product works long-term by providing relief through lubrication and mechanical support, while also ensuring short-term pain relief through other hexacetonides of diamcinolone.

It combines a fast-acting anti-inflammatory (corticosteroid) with hyaluronic acid, whose effect lasts over time, up to 6 months.

Active ingredients Cingal syringe:

Cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) gel supplemented with a corticosteroid (triamcinolone hexacetonide).

Cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) gel: naturally present in the synovial fluid of the knee, is injected into the joint through viscosupplementation. This procedure lubricates the cartilage, similar to how oil lubricates the gears of an engine, leading to lasting pain relief.
Corticosteroid (triamcinolone hexacetonide): like cortisone, they possess anti-inflammatory properties. By reducing swelling at the joint level, they provide rapid relief from pain.

Usage instructions:

Inject Cingal directly into the selected joint space using a recommended sterile, disposable hypodermic needle (18-21 gauge).
Apply an aseptic technique approved by the health center to insert the sterile needle into the syringe of Cingal.
Leave the responsibility of the final choice of the needle for the procedure to the physician.
Ensure that the needle is correctly positioned in the synovial space of the joint before performing the injection of Cingal.

A joint injection can last up to 6 months.

Recommended needle sizes for a knee injection: between 18 and 21G.
