Get ready to ring in the New Year with your hand built whiskey sippers or beer steins! In this popular adult workshop, participants will learn handbuilding and decoraing techniques as they create whiskey sippers or steins. Each participant gets to keep one project from the evening which will be clear glazed by the Instructor and ready approximately two weeks after the workshop. All materials and kiln firings are included. Please wear older clothes and shoes as they may get messy or stained. This workshop is for adults 16+.
This 6-week class will introduce students to the fundamentals of building sculptures out of clay. More advanced students will have time to hone their own style and skills. All clay, glazes, tools, and firing provided. Students also have access to the studio during open hours throughout this six-week class. Learn the fundamentals and refine your handbuilding skills in this 4-week class taught by Artist-In-Residence David Kruk. One of the oldest and most versatile techniques in the history of ceramics, coil building utilizes hand-rolled ropes of clay that are joined together to create form. This class will focus on the technique of coiling and pinching to construct ceramic vessels.

Youth ages 9-11 and Teens ages 12-15 can work with their hands and use their imagination while experimenting with clay in this fun 2-day camp! Students will be introduced to basic hand building techniques (slab building, coiling and pinching) they can use for the creation of sculptural and/or functional pottery. More experienced students can work with the instructor to explore their own ideas! Some examples of projects might include pots, boxes, plates or platters. The possibilities are endless!
